TWO WAYS TO GET HEALTH INSURANCE IN 2022
Newly Approved Open Enrollment Period for 2022
You may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) to enroll in a Marketplace plan for 2022 if:
- Your estimated household income is below a certain amount.
- If you recently submitted a Marketplace application and were denied due to low income guidelines or currently enrolled into a health plan and your income has changed, a new SEP could make you eligible for enrollment and/or lower your current premium. The new SEP is for those whose income is at or around 150% of the FPL (Federal Poverty Level), for example: 1 person= $20,185 or $1,699 or less/mo. or a family of 4 = $41,625 or $3,469 or less/mo.
- You experience certain types of life changes - like losing health coverage, getting married, moving, or having a baby.
